Jim Bill (JB) Williams, 56, of 1159 Brickyard Road near Pembroke, departed this life Wednesday evening, July 23, 2008. He was a longtime employee of Commonwealth Bolt/Jennmar in Rich Creek. He served in the United States Army and was an avid fisherman who loved to be on the river with his fishing buddies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Bill and Laura Belle Myers Williams; a sister, Brenda Gail Vaught; and a brother, David Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Brenda Shaver Williams; his three children that he gave unconditionally to and that made up his world, Beth, Jason, and Joshua Williams; his very special future daughters-in-law, Leslee Lucas and Nikki Johnston; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Williams and husband, Greg; and brother, Alan Dale Williams and his wife, Jill, all of Pembroke. He also had a number of nieces and nephews; and his “grand-dogs”, “C”, Maggie, Marley and Dozer.

The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke Friday, July 25, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday July 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead with the Rev. Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
