Williams, Gladys Moles Harris

Gladys Moles Harris Williams, 82, of Willis, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008.

Gladys loved her family and friends. She always looked forward to their visits, preparing meals and playing with the children. She had a great love for horses, her flower garden and collecting frogs.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, O.W. “Brud” Harris; and her second husband, Elmer Williams. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Linda Harris, of Christiansburg, Bill and Nadine Harris, of Hardy; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ollie and Betty Moles, Earl and Peggy Moles, all of Willis; her grandchildren, Kevin Harris, Cherie Sartori and husband, Larry; her great-grandchildren, Lexi and Andrew Sartori; and number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Ralph Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at the Alderman Cemetery. Friends may call at Maberry Funeral Home on Friday, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
