Williams, Bruce Dewayne

Bruce Dewayne Williams, 61 of Fairview Acres in Pearisburg departed this life to be with his Heavenly Father after a valiant battle with Cancer in the care of his loving family. Born June 4, 1961 in Giles County, Virginia, he was a son of Marcella Caldwell Williams of Pembroke and the late Alfred Williams.

Bruce worked in a print shop at Virginia Tech, however his love was his family. As his family walks in their home, they will still enjoy those things Bruce was passionate about from woodworking, construction (including electrical or plumbing), to working on his cars; all of which he had developed master skills for.

Bruce is preceded in death by his loving father, Alfred Wayne Williams; his father-in-law, Lewis Dale Collins; and mother-in-law, Roma Snidow Collins.

He leaves to cherish his sweet memory to their hearts, his mom, Marcella Caldwell Williams of Pembroke; his beloved wife, Brenda Collins Williams; his daughters, Hannah Williams of Radford, VA, and Amber Williams Vaught (Cody) of Salem; his brother, James “Jamie” Williams (April) of Pembroke; sisters, Cindy Bane (Clay) of Pembroke, and Kimberly Williams of Christiansburg, VA; a brother-in-law, Steve Collins (Sheila) of Pembroke; and nieces and nephews, Xander James Williams, Nicholas Stowers, Ryan Williams, Aaron Bane, Matthew Bane, Sara Elizabeth Collins, Braylyn Minnick, Carmel Cullop, and Lindsea Ray (Trenton).

A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. The family will receive friends in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A guestbook is available by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com.
