Williams, Arthur Cline

Arthur Cline Williams, 67, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007 at his home after a lengthy illness.

Born January 11, 1940 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Glen and Iva Owen Williams. One stepbrother, Leonard Williams also preceded him in death. He was retired from M.S. Carriers (Memphis, Tenn.) and also employed by Klopman Mills (Dublin) with 25 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Marines and a member of the Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church.

A beloved husband, father and grandfather he is survived by wife, Iris Lyons Williams, Dublin; sons and daughter-in-law, Tracy Arthur Williams, Dublin, Russell and wife Debbie Williams, Christiansburg, Va.; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Williams, Cleveland, Tenn.; grandson, George Foster Williams, Christiansburg, Va.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Michael S. Ingo and Pastor Kenneth Fogus officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin where the V.F.W. Post #1184 will conduct full military honors.
