Willard, Patsy Eileen

Patsy Eileen Willard, 89, of Blacksburg died, Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Richfield Recovery and Care. She was born in Elk Garden, Va on March 30, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Willard, and a sister, Winifred Hudson.

She was a charter member of The Revived Rebekah Lodge #100 and attended Blacksburg United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law: Sandra W. and Michael Pearson, Reedville, Va., Susan Willard, Blacksburg; brother, Jimmy Thompson, Elk Garden, Va.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Pearson and husband Steven Gill, David E. Campbell, II; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Matt, and Grace.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Carson and Rev. Herbert Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Blacksburg Rescue Squad, 200 Progress Street NE, Blacksburg, Va. 24060, Blacksburg Fire Department, 407 Hubbard Street, Blacksburg, Va. 24060 or charity of ones choice.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg.
