Wilkie, Mary Ruth Kegley

Mary Ruth Kegley Wilkie, 49 of Fredericksburg, formerly of Pulaski, died Wednesday November 9, 2011. She was born on November 29, 1961 in Pulaski, to the late James Darrell Kegley and Rose Marie Handy Kegley. Mary Ruth was a 1979 graduate of Pulaski County High School, and a graduate of Radford University, and was the human resourse manager for Inter-Con Security at the State Dept. in Washington D.C. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank J. Kegley and Inez Bunts Kegley. She is survived by her husband, Dean R. Wilkie of Fredericksburg; a very special aunt and uncle, Curtiss D. and Sharon Kegley of Galax, and two very special friends, Lisa and Ray Obregon of Fairfax Station. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday November 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Terrie Sternberg officiating. The family will receive friends briefly following the graveside service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
