Wilkerson, Ruth Gregory

Ruth Gregory Wilkerson, 96, of Dublin, died Friday, January 17, 2014. She was born June 6, 1917 in Amherst County, VA the daughter of the late Walker Franklin and Lovie Anne Hudson Gregory. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William McCoy Wilkerson; four sisters, Emma Humphries, Mildred Day, Eleanor Bradley and Lona Gilbert; two brothers, Walton and Edward Gregory. She is survived by three sisters-in-law, Martha Lee of Madison Heights, VA; Marjorie Wilkerson of Madison Heights, VA and Christine Wilkerson of Amherst, VA; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Service – Wednesday, January 22nd at 2:00 P.M. at the Amherst Cemetery, Amherst. Arrangements by A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate.
