Wiley, Nathan Allen

wiley_nathan_allenNathan Allen Wiley received his angel wings on August 29, 2016 and has moved to be with God. This extraordinary young man had a positive impact on countless lives in such a short amount of time.

Removed from our lives too early, Nathan would have a celebration of his live and for us to remember the events experienced. He was a dedicated, loving, caring, and thoughtful individual with many highlights throughout his life, some of which are shared by few. Many would say he smiled more times than not.

Nathan was an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, biking, backpacking, camping, swimming, and hunting. He joined Scouting in kindergarten and remained active in Scouts through his sophomore year of high school while earning numerous merit badges and serving in leadership roles. He invested his free time to help others by being a volunteer firefighter with both Dale City and Blacksburg.

He maintained a high GPA throughout his education and was an active JROTC member at Forest Park High School. For years, Nathan talked about joining the service after graduation.

A young man that anyone would proudly declare a son, grandson, brother, friend, or buddy; Nathan will be deeply missed by everyone that had a chance to get to know him.

Nathan is survived by his parents, Spen- cer and Tina Wiley, his siblings, Benji and Jaime Dishler, Rebecca and Mike Bedwell, Brett Wiley, Jesse Wiley and Hannah Wiley. Also mourning the loss are his grandparents, Ed and Sharon Wiley, and Don and Pat Oliveto. Nathan will be sadly missed by his niece and nephew Autumn and Hunter Bedwell, as well a numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in his extended family.
