Wiley, III, Marion Scott

Marion Scott Wiley, III, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at the Carrington Place in Daleville, VA. Born August 3, 1943, in Matoaka, WV, he was the son of the late Woodrow Wiley and Mary Elizabeth Woods Wiley.

Marion was a U.S. Army Vietnam and Korean War Veteran and a life member of the Narrows VFW Post 6000.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Wiley. Survivors include one sister, Brenda Wallace and husband Bob of Suffolk, VA; his caregiver and best friend, Donald Cochran of Peterstown, WV; and niece Samantha Christian of Lindside, WV.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Rev. Henry Carter, Sr. officiating. Private burial will be held on Monday at the Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Bluefield, WV. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at the funeral home.
