Wickline, Phillip Douglas

Phillip Douglas “PD” Wickline, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born March 30, 1951, in Ghent, WV, he was the son of the late William Douglas and Phyllis Archer Wickline.

PD was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and later worked at Celanese in Narrows, VA. He loved the outdoors, especially coon hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two sons, Chris Wickline and wife Kristi of Pilot, VA, and Derek Wickline of Ballard, WV; grandchildren, Adam Cole, Aaron Cole, Samantha Wickline Tickle, and Ethan Wickline; and two great grandchildren, Gracie and Avaleigh Tickle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Tim Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow at Ellison Cemetery in Greenville, WV. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
