Rev. Charles Russell Wickline, 86, of Rich Creek, Va., passed away Sunday, August 20, 2006 at Montgomery Regional Hospital, Blacksburg, Va. Born March 20, 1920 at Union, W.Va., he was the son of the late Charles T. and Ella Brown Wickline. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his wife, Susie A. Wickline; five sisters and two brothers.

Rev. Wickline had served as pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy at Bozoo and Craigsville, W.Va., Church of God of Prophecy at Bastian and Bluefield, Va., and the Church of God at Blacksburg, Va.; and was a member of the Church of God, Rich Creek, Va., he was a retired electrician for National Gypsum.

Survivors include, two sons, Charlie Wickline and wife Sue of Peterstown, W.Va., Samuel Wickline and wife Diana of Lakeland, Fla.; two daughters, Betty Bonds and husband Bill of Peterstown, W.Va., Carol Stables and husband Ronnie of Rich Creek, Va.; one half sister, Mary Wikle of Rich Creek, Va.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, W.Va., with the Rev. Jerry Buckner and the Rev. Harvey Anders officiating. Burial will follow at the Wickline Cemetery, Zenith, W.Va. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2006 at the funeral home.
