Whittimore, Michael Ray

Michael Ray Whittimore, 57, of Pulaski, Va., passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012, in the Lewis Gale Hospital, Pulaski. Born in Radford, Va., on August 17, 1954, he was the son of the late Sally Elizabeth Church Whittimore. He was an employee of Pepsi Cola in Wytheville. Surviving are his wife, Sharon H. Whittimore, of Pulaski; daughter, Lori Renee Whittimore, of Dublin; father and wife, David I. and Christine Whittimore, of West Virginia; brother and wife, David Allen and Judy Whittimore, of Johnson City, Tenn.; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth and Alexander Gage; mother-in-law, Mary K. Kirtner; brothers and sisters- in-law, Geary and Leda Martin, and Thomas and Kim Martin; and special friends, Eddie and Donna Hall, and Mickey and Debbie Fizer. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2012, from the Max Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, January 7, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
