Whitt, Richard Elvin

Richard Elvin Whitt age 77 of Christiansburg passed away Friday at Radford Nursing and Rehab. He was a veteran of th US Army and was a retired motor inspector for Inland Motors in Radford.

He is survived by his wife; Lula Mae Whitt of Christiansburg, three daughters and son-in-law; Donna and Ricky Byrd, Floyd, Karen Bernal and Lisa Sayers both of Christiansburg, son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Shawna Whitt of Radford, eight grandchildren, Stephanie Hollar, Justin and Zachery Byrd, Dylan, Brianna, Kendra, Kayla and Dakota Whitt, and two half sisters, Sophia Leedy and Vicki Hrones Roop both of Pulaski, half brother, Nick Hrones, Radford. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
