Whitt, Douglas Wilson

Douglas “Doug” Wilson Whitt, age 61 formerly of Pulaski passed away Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 in the VA medical Center, Salem. He was born August 18, 1950 in Carroll County, to the late Elmer and Hattie Whitt Hall but was adopted by the late; Rass and Leona Whitt of Dublin, Virginia. A brother, Clinton Hall and a special Aunt and Uncle, Lonnie and Ethel Whitt also preceded him in death.

Doug was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam Conflict.

He is survived by his

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski.
Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski
