Thomas Lee Whitlock, 54, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at his home in Radford. He was preceded in death by his father, Preston W. Whitlock; maternal grandparents, Lura and Walter Grubb; and paternal grandparents, Pansy and Tom Whitlock.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Geneva Grubb and James Phillips of Radford; son, Thomas Whitlock of Belspring; daughters and son-in-law, Terri and Justin Hinkley, and Natasha Whitlock, all of Belspring; sisters and brother-in-law, Debbie and Randy Hamm of Radford, and Charlotte Elder of Pulaski; step sisters and their husbands, Sherry and Fred Eckert of Roanoke, and Rhonda and Tom Warden of Elliston; grandchildren, Tiffany Montgomery and J. T. Whitlock; and many other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to James “Pops” Montgomery for being there all these years, to Debra and Randy Hamm for standing by him and loving him unconditionally, and to the staff of Medi Hospice for all their services and support. Debra Hamm would like to thank his nurse, Sherri Gray, RN, for her outstanding care and compassion.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Danny Newman and Rev. James Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Mitchel Chapel Cemetery in Dugspur.
