White, Joyce Elaine

Joyce Elaine White, 59 of Pearisburg, departed this life Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salem after a long illness. Born in Pearisburg on September 6, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Maynard Leonard Sr. and Naomi Kathleen Farley Robbins. She was a veteran of the U S Army, retired from the V A Medical Center in Salem, and attended the Pearisburg Church of God.

She leaves to cherish her memory her brothers and sisters-in-law Maynard Jr and Katherine Robbins of Seline, MI, David and Gwen Robbins of Pearisburg, Jimmy and Melissa Robbins of Pearisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday May 1, 2014 at 7:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastors Eddie Kendall and Doug Duncan officiating. Graveside Services will be in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, Friday morning at 11:00 am. Military graveside honors will be rendered by American Legion Post 311 in Pembroke, Post 6000 in Narrows, Post 145 in Peterstown, WV and VFW Post 6000 in Narrows.
