White, John W.

John W. White, 95, of McCoy, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2018, and will join his beloved wife, Dora, who preceded him in death. John was born August 3, 1922, in Montgomery County, VA.

John was also preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings, a son, and a grandson. He is survived by sons, Tony, Stuart, and Kenny; a daughter, Patty; a brother, William; and a host of grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.

The family will receive friends from 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. James O. Flaugher and Jim Myers officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
