White, Irby Linwood

Irby Linwood White, age 84, of Blacksburg went to be with Lord on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. He was born in Pulaski County, Va. on November 24, 1934 to the late Lettie Reed and also preceded in death by his wife Erma White.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tonia and Kevan Danker, of Williamsburg, Va.; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Wanda White, of Elliston; four grandchildren, Scott White, Cassey, Shelly Herron; Jahred Danker, and Ethan Danker; and three great-grandchildren, Nate White, Jasmine White, and Austin White; and furry companion, Chance.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
