White, Harry Joe

Harry Eccles “Joe” White, Jr. age 71, of Pulaski passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital-Pulaski. Born April 1, 1940 in Glen-Lyn, VA., he was the son of the late Harry Eccles & Ellen Brown White. One son; Mark Anthony White also preceded him in death.

A contractor for 37 years, he was very proud of his work and was an avid hunter. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his Wife- Sandra Orey White – Pulaski. Children- Timothy Wayne White – Pulaski, Kathy White – GA, Larry White – Alabama. Special Granddaughter- Chatale White-Pulaski Grandsons- Josh & Matthew Nunley. Brother -John White – FL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Carson Linkous and Rev. Clayton Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow at the Mechanicsburg Cemetery (Bland, County). The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Home.
