White, Erma A.

Erma A. White, 76, of Blacksburg, Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 27, 2011. She was born in Floyd County, Va., on August 5, 1934, to the late Edgar and Mary Duncan Akers. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Linwood White, of Blacksburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Tonia and Kevan Danker, of Ruckersville, Va.; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Wanda White, of Elliston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Loula Broce, of Blacksburg, Alice and Paul Nixon, of Troutville, and Betty and Larry Thomas, of Floyd; four grandchildren, Scott White and wife, Cassey, Shelly Herron and husband, Stuart, Jahred Danker, and Ethan Danker; and three greatgrandchildren, Nate White, Jasmine White, and Austin White. Funeral Services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blacksburg Rescue Squad, 200 Progress Street, NE, Blacksburg, VA 24060 or to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 28105.
