Diana Lynn French White, 68, of Pulaski, gained her angel wings on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 after a lengthy illness. Born August 10, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. French Sr. & Myrtes Martin French Worrell. She was predeceased by her Paternal Grandparents Harvey & Daisy French & Maternal Grandparents Lawrence & Frances Martin. She was also predeceased by her eldest son, James Steven White.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Lee Thomas White of Virginia Beach. Daughter & Son-in-Law, Sarah and Terry Hanson of Lynchburg. Brother & Sister-in-Law, Thomas & Jennifer French of Pulaski, Brother, Michael French of Pulaski & Sister, Leslie Worrell Queen of Pulaski. Three Grandchildren, Rocky, Ashley & Andrew Hanson of Lynchburg. Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nephew, Great Niece & a host of Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Hera, who was the main focus of Diane’s fight to survive.

A special thank you to Amie Douglas, Pulaski, who was her caregiver while she was at home. To the staff at NRV Dialysis who walked with Diane on her journey for so many years, they all held a special place in Diane’s heart. To Heritage Hall in Blacksburg for being her ‘home’ for the last several months & to the staff at Lewis Gale Montgomery, Pulaski & Carilion NRV Medical Center for all the care you gave to Diane in the last several years.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the First United Methodist Church, Pulaski in the Family Life Center. Visitation will be from 11:00 until the service hour. Immediately following the service, interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society in Diane’s memory. Please consider becoming an organ donor as Diane had received a kidney transplant many years ago that saved her life.
