White, Burman Paul

amem_flagBurman Paul White, 86, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. His life work included mechanics and farming.

Preceeding in death were his parents, Homer Lee and Lena White; two sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Rachel Wade White; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and JoAnn White of Radford; daughter and son-in-law, Erma Jean and Wayne Cox of Riner; grandchildren and their spouses, Sharon and David Brockman of Christiansburg, Susan and Jason Blackburn of Riner, Beverly and Chris Henley of Hiwassee, Lindsay and Jason Dawley of Va. Beach, and Ben White of Riner; eight great-grandchildren, Will, Carter, Jackson, Alicia, Brayden, Lily, Emily and Katie; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Lorene White of Salem; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral Services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Neil Wood officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Snowville Baptist Church, 3238 Gum Log Road, Hiwassee, VA 24347.
