Whitaker, Mack Lee

Mack Lee Whitaker, 82, of Blacksburg, passed away after a brief illness. Mack was a math professor at Radford University for over 30 years. He was a longtime resident of Floyd County until a recent move to Blacksburg. Mack is survived by Dorothy (Dot), his loving wife of 57 years; their children, David (Cindy), Kevin (Terri); and grandchildren, Austin, Aimee, Michael and Lauren. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday July 10, 2014, at Fieldstone United Methodist Church, 3385 North Franklin St., Christiansburg, VA 24073.
