Whetsel, Robert Lee

Robert Lee Whetsel, 72, of Radford, passed away on January 4, 2016. Bob was born May 16, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mable Whetsel; and daughter, Tammy Lea Whetsel.

Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary (Kate) Whetsel; daughter, Anna Ree Whetsel Rucker; son, Robert Whetsel; grandchildren, Jason Whetsel, Niycoka Whetsel, Josh Johnston, Zac Johnston, Donavan Whetsel-Rucker; great-grandchildren, Holdien, Olivia, Trynt, Destiny, Keymoni, Brianna, and Aubree; as well as other extended family and friends.

The family will have a Celebration of Life on Friday, January 8, 2016, from 2-4 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 555 West Rock Road, Radford.
