Wheeler, Mona Lovern

Mona Sue Lovern Wheeler, 74, of Radford, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2007 in a Fredericksburg Retirement Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wheeler, Sr.; and a son, Rusty Wheeler.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Fred, Jr. and Carol Wheeler of Fredericksburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy W. and Jerry Phillips of Covington; two sisters, May Kirtner of Radford and Mackie Vaughn of California.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the Carter Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry Gregory and the Rev. Christy Baines officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour preceding the service at the church.
