Wheeler, Juanita Bowles

Juanita Gray Bowles Wheeler, 80 of Narrows, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wheeler was born in Giles County on August 9, 1940 to the late Walter Clarence and Nina Runions Bowles. Mrs. Wheeler is also preceded in death by her brothers, J.D. Bowles and Marvin Bowles.

Juanita loved her family, loved to read and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs. Wheeler is survived by her husband of 61 years, Curtis Wheeler of the home, her children, Vincent E. Wheeler and wife, Trina of Pearisburg, Veronica Wheeler and husband, Corky Johnston of Narrows and Jill Tibbs and husband, Joey of Saltville. Her grandchildren, Juanita Conley and husband, Arther, Seth Johnston, Heath Stafford and wife, Carolyn, Samatha Tibbs, Rachel Patteson and husband Zach, and Lukas Wheeler, great-grandchildren, AJ Conley, Mackenzie Stafford, John Stafford, Colten Patteson, and Colby Patteson. Juanita is also survived by her sisters, Joyce Shrader of Ripplemead, Carol Hager and husband Edison of Rich Creek and Ferne Gillispie of Pembroke.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 11 , 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating.
