peaceful-retreat Mrs. Sandra Beatrice (Baylor) Wesley, 62, of 2423 Second Street, Radford, Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, February 16, 2014. Born October 5, 1951 in Coalwood, W.Va., she was the daughter of the Late Blanche Lorraine Baylor and Jayvoyd Fowler. Sandra accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized a member of Mount Airy Baptist Church at Coalwood, W.Va. She later became a member of Greater Emanuel Tabernacle of Elbert, W.Va. After residing in Radford, she became a member of Wake Forest Baptist Church in Wake Forest. She graduated from Big Creek High School in War, W.Va. in 1970 and was a faithful employee for the Social Security Administration for a number of years in McDowell County. Her last employment continued with The Shawsville Headstart Program, where she retired with 20 years of dedicated service. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur (Coot) Wesley; brother, Donald Lee Baylor; sister, Hazel Yvonne Brown; and two infants. She leaves to cherish the memories of her life five sons, Jerome Wesley, Demond Wesley, William (Cornell) Wesley (Angie), Cory Wesley (Amanda) and Marlon Wesley, all of Radford; and two special men she loved as her own, Arthur Lee Woodson of Flint, Mich. and Donald James (D.J.) Baylor of Radford, Va.; a brother, James Baylor (Barbara), of Bluefield, W.Va.; two sisters, Sheila Rae Mosley (William (Lee) of Flint, Mich. and Kelly Alexander (Robert) of Radford; 10 grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and many other relatives, neighbors and friends. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Rock Road, Radford with Pastor Corwin Casey officiating. Burial will be conducted at Pine Hurst Cemetery, Pulaski. Friends and family will serve as flower girls and pall bearers. The Family is being served by Penn’s Funeral Home, 231 Randolph Avenue, Pulaski, Va.
