Werner, Carolyn Hollandsworth

Carolyn “Red” Hollandsworth Werner was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on February 4, 2022, at age 73. She was born to Hurshel and Eulala Hollandsworth on December 24, 1948, in Indian Valley, Virginia. After high school, Carolyn met her husband, Bobby Joe Werner. Together, they had three children, Karen, Cindy, and Bobbie.

Carolyn loved spending time with her family, listening to music and taking car rides. Carolyn relished in becoming a grandmother. Carolyn spent her last years at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital in Burkeville, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hurshel and Eulala Hollandsworth; husband, Bobby Joe Werner; brother, Early Hollandsworth; sisters, Betty Sutphin, Geraldine Shelor and Phyllis Martin; and son-in-law, Mike Page.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Cristian Martinez, Cindy Werner and Robert Jalowitz; daughter, Bobbie Page; grandsons, Nick and Dylan Martinez; granddaughters, Katelyn and Victoria Page; sister, Barbara Quesenberry; and brother, James Hollandsworth. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was beloved by many.
