Wendell, Daniel C.

Daniel C. Wendell, 61, passed away October 27, in Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was the longtime manager of Radio Shack in Christiansburg’s New River Mall and an avid Virginia Tech Hokies fan.

He is survived by his sister Mary Lee Ostien of Katy, Texas; a brother, Roger Wendell and wife, Julie, of Palm Coast, Florida. He is also survived by nieces, Jennifer Gardner of Katy, Texas, and Heather Mason of Spring Lake, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
