Ronald Gilbert Weiss, 70, of Riner, passed away on May 28, 2008.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd, Va. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Internment will be at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at The Cristus Garden, Airport Road Roanoke, Va.

There will be no night visitation, but friends and family may call Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Arrangements by Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd, Va.

Ronald Gilbert Weiss, 70, of Riner died in a Salem, N.C.-area hospital Sunday of injuries he suffered in a two-vehicle wreck Saturday in Patrick County. Weiss was traveling south on state Route 8 just south of state Route 785 when his car crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck at 12:20 p.m., police said. He was not wearing a seat belt, authorities said.
