Weiss, Bobbie Blankenship

Bobbie Sue Blankenship Weiss, 75, of Narrows, VA, departed this life to enter into the gates of Heaven and sit at her Heavenly Father’s side, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Born on April 28, 1947, in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Gladys Stables Blankenship.

Bobbie Sue retired at both Kroger and Celanese, providing for her family. She was a member of the family of faith at Bethel Chapel in Clendennin.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her husband, Larry Wayne Hare, to whom she was married for the last 29 years; her sons, Michael Weiss (Melissa) of Pembroke, and Mark Weiss of Wolf Creek; her grandchildren, Jared Michael Weiss (Lauren) and great-grand-son Amos, of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Emily De La Torre (Eddie), who are both currently serving in the United States Marine Corps in Okinawa,
Japan; her beloved sister, Betty McCroskey (Roger) of Narrows; a special nephew, Brian McCroskey (Amy), and their children, Jayden, Alivia, and Camden of Huntersville, NC, and special friends, Carolyn Williams and Nancy Snider both of Narrows.

There will be a celebration of life held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Bethel Chapel with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. The family will receive friends at Bethel Chapel beginning at 5:00 PM with a service beginning at 6:00 PM.
