Weir, Mary Elizabeth Keith Boothe

Mary Elizabeth Keith Boothe Weir, 91, a resident of Pulaski Retirement Community, departed this life on April 17, 2007.

She was born in Willis, Va. on March 27, 1916, a daughter of the late Jabe and Melissa Hylton Keith. She attended Willis High School. She was a member of Christiansburg Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Hattie Hylton Keith; first husband, Tony Deware Boothe; second husband, Hugh Collins Weir; sisters, Nova Shelor and Ruby Reed; and brothers, Christopher Keith and Lois Keith. Survivors include four sisters, Margie Keith, Melva Largen, Katy Reed, Wilma Reed and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Keith Cemetery, Willis, with the Rev. Richard Kingrea officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. at Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Keith Cemetery Fund, c/o Wilma Reed, 372 Long Level Road, SW, Floyd, Va. 24091.
