amem_openbiblePatsy Allen Weeks, 82, of Radford, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016. She was a member of Fairlawn Presbyterian Church and owner of Weeks Accounting Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Allen; her husband, Paul J. Weeks; and sons, Michael Paul and Marvin David Weeks.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Fleming Jones of McGaheysville, Sandra Hamblin of Blacksburg, Sonya and Terry Jennings of Radford, Shelia and Clifford Neal of Radford, Susette and Robert Sowers of Ripplemead, and Susanne and Lance Huff of Knoxville, Tenn.; son and daughter-in-law, Max and Mira Weeks of Stillwater, Okla.; daughter-in-law, Patricia Aust of Pulaski; and grandchildren and their spouses, Jessica and Dylan Bateman, Joshua and Bridget Jones, Julianne Jones, Jacquelyn and Ryan Gessay, Gabrielle and Chris Yung, Matthew Jennings, Zack Neal, Holly Neal, Hailea Sowers, Craig Sowers, Gracie Huff and Sydney Huff.

While being a busy mother of 9 and owning Weeks Accounting Service, Patsy was very active in volunteer work. She was very active with Presbyterian Women, both locally and throughout the Peaks Presbytery, as well as the Synod on the Mid Atlantic. She also served on the Committee on Ministry for several terms. Patsy worked tirelessly on the board of the Presbyterian Children’s Home of the Highlands, serving 2 six year terms on the board with the last term serving as Moderator of the Board. She also loved family as well as crafting, cake and candy making, talking and visiting with people.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church. Memorial services will begin at 12 p.m. with Rev. Allison Unroe and Rev. George Goodman officiating.
