Harry C. Weeks, 91, of Salem, Va., and formerly of Floyd County, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009. He was a proud Army veteran having served during World War II, had retired after 46 years of service from the Virginia Department of Transportation, and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Salem. Preceding him in death were his parents, Cullen and Sally Weeks; brother, Curtis Weeks; and sister, Alpha Hylton.

His surviving family includes his wife of 68 years, Reva Wade Weeks; brother, Marvie Weeks and wife, Ovada; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. There will be no visitation.
