William Edgar Weddle, 79, of Floyd, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Josephine Weddle; and one infant sister, Mary Louise Weddle. He is survived by his wife, Zelwood Donnelly Weddle; children, Douglas W. and Audra D. Weddle, Sandra Johnson and William Webb, Mike and Colette Donnelly, Susan and Bruce Board, Tracie and Darrell Turner, Wendy and Stephen Vaughn; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nicole Weddle, Mckenzie Louise Weddle; 10 stepgrandchildren; sister, Betty W. King; special friends, Curtis Nolen, Allen Harman and Sam Hancock; and numerous cousins and special friends. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013, at Topeco Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Mike Varner and Pastor Roy Turpin officiating. Interment to follow in the Topeco Cemetery with Military Rites by the Floyd VFW Post #7854 and American Legion Post #127. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel.
