Webster, Gertrude Darmstadter
Gertrude Darmstadter Webster, 91, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Commonwealth Assisted Living in Radford, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Emilie Darmstadter; husband, Daniel P. Webster; and daughter, Barbara Lincavage.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Albert Webster (Ruby), and John Webster (Ann); son-in-law, Patrick Lincavage; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Friedel Darmstadter (Monica); and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be private.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Gertrude during my time working at Commonwealth Seenior Living over the past year and a half. Besides being such a sweet woman, we also had our European heritage in common, which we spoke about often. Whenever I would go to see her, we would always give each other a hug and she would give me a kiss on my cheek. When I would go and sing for her and her fellow residents, she always told me how much she enjoyed my songs. I will absolutely never forget Gertrude. The community will not be the same without her.
