Webb, Mitchell Eli
Mitchell Eli Webb, 87, of Pulaski, passed away, Friday March 20, 2015, at Lewis-Gale Hospital Pulaski following a brief illness. Born August 28, 1927, in Cosby, Tenn., he was the son of the late, Burton and Lettie Barnes Webb. Mitch was an avid fisherman and he loved raising a garden and canning. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Dustin Kauff; two sisters, Leta Neeves and Ina Belcher; and one brother, Clyde Webb.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Webb; one daughter, Lynn Kauff and husband, Terry, of Panama City, Fla.; four sons, Mitchell E Webb Jr. and wife, Joann, of Winchester; Michael Webb and wife, Janet, of Winter Haven, Fla.; Greg Webb and wife, Brenda, of Manassas; Mark Webb and wife, Lily, of Pulaski; four brothers, Bruce Webb, Ray Webb, Bobby Webb, and Richard Webb; four sisters, Lois Butler, Ada Van Dyke, Sylvia Peletier and Gona Olson; five granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Johnny Howlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Gardens, Dublin. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Stevens Funeral Home of Pulaski is serving the Webb family.
