Weaver, Rita V.

Rita V. Weaver, 70, of Blacksburg, died Monday, March 19, 2012, at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital. She was born in St. Marys, Pa. on February 21, 1942, to the late Edward L. and Margaret Herbst Vollmer. Her life theme was to give a little kindness. She is survived by her husband, David Weaver, of Blacksburg; daughter, Sarah Margaret Weaver, of Blacksburg; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Helen Weaver; grandsons, Bryce, Cameron, Henry Parker, of Richmond and son, Mark Edward Weaver, of Blacksburg; sister, Patricia Stebich, of St. Marys, Pa.; special dogs, Dakota and McKenzie. Funeral Mass will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2012, in the St. Marys Catholic Church, with the Father Richard Mooney officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg.
