Watkins, Sandra Kay

Sandra Kay Watkins, 64, of Starlite Drive, Christiansburg departed this life Wednesday afternoon, December 5, 2018 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born in Columbus, Ohio on April 6, 1954 she was a daughter of the late Bobby Lee and Shirley Shrader Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bobby Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons and daughters-in-law Gene and Susan Watkins of Roanoke, Todd and Sherri Watkins of Ballard, WV. and Tyler Watkins of Christiansburg; her daughter Sonia K Watkins of Pembroke; her grandchildren Jordan Childress, Cade Watkins (Kari), J W Harris, Mackenzie Watkins, Victoria Deweese, and Maggie Watkins; her great-grandchildren Jasmine Faith Watkins and Varen Courtney ; her brothers Tommy Aliff, Timmie Smith, Richard Smith and Charles Smith; her sisters Martha Halverson and Patty Smith.

A memorial service will be conducted at the home of her son, Gene Watkins, (8311 Robin Lynn Road, Roanoke, VA) December 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
