Waterman, David Michael

David Michael Waterman, 59, of Blacksburg, Va., passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Michael, of Phoenix, Ariz., and James, and his grandson, Riley. Dave is also survived by his parents, George and Dolores Waterman, of King of Prussia, Pa.; brothers, George Waterman and wife, Cecile, of Gilbertsville, Pa., Robert Waterman and wife, Susanna, of Norristown, Pa.; sister, Michelle Kerrigan and husband, John, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; in-laws, Richard and Dorothy Thomas of Crozet, Va.; brother-in-law, Michael Thomas and wife, Christine, of Ruckersville, Va.; five nephews and two nieces. Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Mark. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be greatly appreciated to Michael and James’ college fund. Donations may be sent to Cindy Koziol, 120 Briarwood Drive, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
