Grace Smith Warren, 88, of Narrows passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at her home. She was born in Monroe County, West Virginia on August 16, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Clinton Cherington and Elizabeth Maude Huffman Smith.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Leslie Warren; one great-grandchild, Jonathan Giglio, a brother and two sisters.

She was a graduate of Concord College and a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Narrows.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer W. Gilkeson of Narrows and Malinda W. Rossi of Richmond; five grandchildren, Thomas C. Gilkeson, James W. Gilkeson, James W. Boothe, Jennie B. Giglio, Suzanne B. Allen; and 12 great-grandchildren, Ashley Boothe, Ryan Boothe, Jordan Boothe, Olivia Boothe, Christopher Giglio, Sarah Allen, Kathy Allen, Connor Gilkeson, Rachele Gilkeson, Olivia Gilkeson, Lauren Gilkeson, Heather Gilkeson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. in Birchlawn Abbey with the Rev. Wayne Monroe officiating. Entombment will follow. The family will receive friends at the Warren home, 113 Orchard Drive in Narrows Friday from 7 to 8 p.m.
