warner_robert_louieRobert Louie Warner, 62, of Pearisburg, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, August 18, 2010, at his home in Pearisburg. Mr. Warner was born on December 1, 1947, in Pulaski, Va., and was a son of the late Robert Arelius Warner and Lucille Myrtle White Warner. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Faye Warner. Mr. Warner was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, a member of the Pearisburg Lions Club, a former member of the Pearisburg Jaycees, an employee of Virginia Tech with Communication Network Services and had worked many years in the printing industry. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Christine Lawlor Warner, of Pearisburg; one daughter, Kelly Jeanne Elizabeth Warner, of Pearisburg; son, Robert C. Warner, of Pembroke; one brother, Bill Warner and wife, Sharon, of Ringgold, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sylvie and Bob Barnett, of Virginia Beach, and George and Sherryle Lawlor, of Winter Spring, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Kara Turner, Clay Warner, Jonathan Warner, Alyssa Barnett, Laurren Lawlor, Emily Lawlor and Natalie Lawlor; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg with Dr. Brad Scott officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
