Glenna Sue Warner, 65 of Pearisburg departed this life Monday, November 12th, 2018. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on February 4th, 1953, and was the daughter of the late Oscar Ward and Olivia Susan Burton Warner. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Linda Lou Warner, Karen Kay Warner and Janice Faye Warner.

Sue was a retired employee of Celanese in Narrows with 36 years of service. An avid Oakland Raiders and Nascar fan, she followed driver Tony Stewart and attended every race at Martinsville Speedway. She will be sadly missed by her canine companions, a Dorky named Joie, and a Jack Russell Terrier named Jack.

Left to cherish her memory are a brother, James P. Warner of Narrows; a special uncle, Gilbert Warner of Heritage Hall Rich Creek.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 14th, 2018 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with Gary Lester officiating. Burial will follow in the Farrell Cemetery in the Wolf Creek Community near Narrows. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
