Warden, Charles Alvin

Charles Alvin Warden, age 85 of 4673 Clarks Ferry Road, Draper passed away Friday, December 15, 2006 at Pulaski Community Hospital.

Born November 28, 1921 in Delton, he was the son of the late Troy Thomas Warden and Virgil Lawson Warden. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two daughters, infant Shirley Jean Warden and Patricia Warden Phibbs; two sisters and three brothers.

Mr. Warden was a veteran of the United States Army. He attended the Delton Church of God of Prophecy. He was retired from Vecello and Grogan Construction Company with over 20 years of service

His wife of Sixty-four years- Janie Cook Warden-Draper

Daughter – Betty Warden Turman and husband, Dennis Roger Turman- Morgantown, NC

Sons Charles Dean Warden-Draper David Allen Warden and wife, Nancy Kane Warden- Mooresville, NC

Six Grandchildren Two Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted Monday 11:00 A.M. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Diane Stanley officiating. Interment will follow in the Moore Cemetery, Delton with full military honors at the graveside by the Pulaski VFW Post # 1184.
