Warburton, Lewis Edward

Lewis Edward Warburton, 74, of Max Meadows and formerly of Pulaski, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 in LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski. He was born in Pulaski on Dec. 9, 1936 and was the son of the late James Taylor Warburton and Donnie Warburton Sullivan.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Spraker Warburton, and by a son, Edward Eugene Warburton.

Surviving are sisters, Bonnie Kilpatrick, Nellie Akers and Jewel Martin; brother, Bob Sullivan; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky Wayne and Anne Warburton and James Taylor and Jerri Lynn Warburton. Lewis was blessed with nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 14, 2 p.m., from Stevens Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hufford Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct, 13, at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
