Wallace, Theresa Marie

Theresa Marie Wallace, born February 10, 1969, in Ithaca, N.Y., to Clifford and Janette Wallace, of Christiansburg, and went home to her God in Heaven on Friday, April 19, 2013. She graduated from Dryden High School in New York, in 1987, attended Tompkins Cortland Community College, and worked for many years as a coast-to-coast truck driver, a job she loved. Theresa was also a published poet. She gave up her home and job to move home and help care for her dad, in the past five years with the help of her brother. Theresa made lifelong friends wherever she went and lived life to the fullest. She lit up the room with her great stories, amazing perspective on the world, and brought uproars of laughter with her unique and loving sense of humor. Theresa left us too soon, and joins her father, who predeceased her just 16 days earlier. She is survived by her loving mother, Janette; her brother, Michael (Jennifer), in Newport; and her precious nephews and niece, Zachary (Little Buck), Marcus (Mighty Mack), and Baylee (Baylee Bug); her aunts; an uncle; very special cousins; a dear friend, Ron; dozens of friends; and her special buddy, Sidvicious.
