She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James David Walker Sr.; three sons, David, Daryl, and Eric; two grandsons, Brandon, and Darrian; granddaughters, Kayla and Noel; sister, Dorothy McGhee; three brothers and sisters-in-laws, James T. Parham (Margie), of Norfolk, Va., Howard V. Parham (Harriet), of Norfolk, Va., and John Parham (Elaine), of California; mother-in-law, Irma Jean Hanson, of Floyd; sisters-in-law, Carol Walker ,of Maryland, and Rosemary Hobson (Joe), of Roanoke, Va.; brother-in-law, Johnny Walker (Melinda), of Floyd, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clinton Crump officiating.
