Walker, Ernest Frank

Ernest Frank (E.F.) Walker, 77, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 11, 2007 from the Carilion NRV Medical Center.

Frank served our country in the U.S. Army Airborne Division, before, during and after the Korean War, after which he was Honorably Discharged.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite H. Rice Walker; his father, James E. Walker; his mother, Beatrice B. Walker; and twin brother, James W. Walker.

Frank is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Bonnie Walker, Hiwassee, Jimmy and June Walker of Christiansburg, Tommy and Summer Walker of Riverview, Fla., Joe and Donna Walker of Christiansburg; and grandchildren, Brian Walker (Leigh), Rob Walker (Fiance Julie Ramrattan), Adam Walker (Cynthia), Amanda Winkle (Lee), Christinia Wassilie, Heather Walker, Kelly Walker, Jamie Walker, Joseph Walker, Andreanna Walker, Denise Royal (Blake), Misty Cecil (Chris), Jeremy Walker, Jerade Walker, Ron Stickler, Faith Stickler, Justin Kirby; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Walker, Casey Walker, and Anthony Walker, Zaden Bowles, and Collin Pirdy. Also surviving sisters, Dorothy Scaggs, and Virginia Akers (Jim) of Radford; brother, Johnny Walker (Saddie) of Chesapeake; and sister-in-law, Tanya Rice Faircloth of Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. and special family friends, Audrey Walters, Michelle Wood and Susan Walker.

Visitation will be Tuesday , June 12, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
