Waldron, Vivian Underwood

Vivian Underwood Waldron, 94 of Narrows, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 at Country View Assisted Living in Peterstown, West Virginia.

She was born in Pulaski County on April 19th, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Underwood and Lucy Pearl Davis Underwood. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Berman Waldron; two brothers, Richard Underwood and Clifford Underwood; and two sisters, Myrtle Rigney and Opal Deck.

Vivian was a retired employee of Celanese in Narrows with over 40 years of service. She a faithful member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Narrows.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Mark Waldron and wife Belinda of Glen Lyn; a grandson, Charlie Waldron and wife Latasha of Glen Lyn; three great-grandchildren, Austin, Dakota an Summer Waldron; a sister, Alva Suttle of Dublin; a brother, Paul (Daley) Underwood of Newbern; many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20th, 2018 at 2 PM at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Narrows with Rev. Jim McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at First Christian Church Friday from 12 noon until just prior to the service.
