Charles Edward Waldron, Jr. (Junior) of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Sunday, January 28, 2007.

He was born October 21, 1944 to the late Charles E. Waldron and Laura Alice Wright Waldron. He was preceded in death, by his parents as well as a sister, Martha Davidson.

He is survived by his sister and caretaker, Thelma Musselman of Christiansburg, another sister, Frances Garrett and Bryant of Shawsville; daughter, Joanna Waldron; niece, Patricia Dickens of Blacksburg; great-nieces, Sabrina Davidson and boyfriend Terry Ratcliffe and children Kelly and Logan Davidson of Christiansburg, Regina Harris and Elvis and children Courtney, Aron, and Wayne of Christiansburg. He also leaves behind a host of other friends and family to cherish his memory.

Mr. Waldron proudly served in the United States Marines and worked at Wolverine Gasket Company. He also was a superb woodworker and master storyteller. He could always make someone laugh and never met a stranger. Mr. Waldron always believed in helping others and was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed greatly by his family.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to the Christiansburg Volunteer Rescue Squad. The family will have a private ceremony. “We love you Jr.” DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford is handling arrangements.
